Radiology: Intro to this Section

Okay, first of all, congratulations with finishing surgical Anatomy. That stuff is not easy, and I know it's pretty dense, and there's a lot of stuff to go through. But congratulations on finishing that. This section is actually a lot easier, a little bit more interactive than the last one. It's going to involve you doing some work on your computer.
So, first, we're going to start off by taking a look at Pano images on your computer. If you don't have digital x-rays, you can look at, you can print it for them out and draw on them. But we're going to use Panos to do most of our evaluations just for big picture stuff, and then I'm going to have my assistant Alvin. He's my right-hand man. He's really good at a lot of this stuff with cone beam planning on blueskybio and all that stuff. So I'm going to have him introduce you to blueskybio, and in homework assignment, I'm going to ask you to download Blue Sky. I'm going to show you where you can get it; I'll give you a sample cone beam that you can download and work on if you don't have one.
But in the video anyway, Alvin's going to show you how to import a dicom file into blue sky and how to start messing around with it. So the more that you use that, the more you mess around with it and take a look at all the anatomy, all the nuances of adding implants and all that stuff, you're just going to get a lot better at it. So really excited for you to take on this section. Make sure to do the homework assignments with it. So let's get started.
